American rapper Cardi B has described Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye as “really sweet” and “very kind” following another public sighting of the pair in Italy.
The latest encounter has further fuelled speculation about a possible relationship between the American rapper and the Nigerian goalkeeper, although neither has confirmed that they are dating.
Cardi B and Okoye were reportedly seen together in Italy on Thursday, September 3, hours after the Udinese goalkeeperfeatured in his club’s 2-1 comeback victory over Venezia in the Coppa Italia round of 32.
The rapper had earlier spoken warmly about Okoye while dining with friends at a waterfront restaurant in Venice.
“He was really sweet. When you see him on social media, he looks very strict and stern, but he is very kind. I hope to see more of him.”
The latest sighting marks the third time the pair have been seen together since dating rumours surrounding them emerged.
Their first public appearance together reportedly came at the Jean Paul Gaultier Fall/Winter 2026 Haute Couture show during Paris Fashion Week, where they were seated beside each other before later being seen chatting on a balcony at a private event.
They were subsequently spotted together during a dinner in Venice, with their latest appearance in Italy adding further attention to the speculation.
Despite their repeated appearances together in France and Italy, neither Cardi B nor Okoye has publicly confirmed that they are romantically involved. Other people were also reportedly present during the outings.
Okoye, who represents both Udinese and the Super Eagles, has attracted considerable attention away from football this year, including appearances at Paris Fashion Week and the Formula One British Grand Prix.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper was born in Düsseldorf, Germany, to a Nigerian father and German mother, and has represented Nigeria at international level.
For now, the repeated public appearances and Cardi B’s latest comments have continued to generate interest among fans, but any romantic relationship between the pair remains unconfirmed.
