Nigerian content creator Peller has dismissed speculation that he plans to divorce his wife, Jarvis, insisting that their ongoing relationship issues are not staged to attract attention or increase engagement on social media.
Peller made the statement while addressing public discussion about the couple’s marriage, rejecting suggestions that their disagreements were deliberately created to generate views or keep them trending online.
“My wife and I aren’t suffering for views. We’re not fighting to rack up engagement or trend,” he said.
The content creator also maintained that he had no intention of ending the marriage, pointing to what he described as the legal and financial consequences of divorcing Jarvis following their court wedding.
“Divorcing my wife now would mean going to prison for four years and giving her 30% of my property. That’s the consequence of my court wedding. I’m not divorcing her,” he added.
However, Peller’s statement about potentially facing four years in prison and surrendering 30 per cent of his property should be understood as his own account of the alleged consequences. The claim has not been independently verified, and the legal implications of divorce depend on the applicable law and the specific circumstances of a marriage.
The couple’s relationship has attracted considerable attention online, with their disagreements prompting speculation about the future of their marriage.
Peller’s latest comments appear intended to counter claims that the relationship is being used as a social media publicity strategy, while making clear that he says he does not want a divorce.

Neither the public attention surrounding their disagreements nor Peller’s statement alone establishes the couple’s full relationship status or the legal position regarding their marriage.
