Nigerian Lady Explains Why She Refused to Return to Pastor Chris Okafor’s Church

A Nigerian lady has shared her personal experience explaining why she decided never to return to Pastor Chris Okafor’s church after attending a service there for the first time.

First Visit That Changed Everything

The lady, identified on Instagram as @preyemiebi, revealed that she attended the church after being invited by a close friend. According to her, she accepted the invitation out of curiosity, despite having no prior connection to the church or its leader.

“Everything Felt Off”

In her account, she said the atmosphere and activities during the service made her uncomfortable. She claimed that several things she witnessed raised concerns and did not align with her personal expectations of a place of worship.

She explained that as the service progressed, her unease grew stronger, and she began to question what she was seeing.

Decision Made Before Service Ended

According to her, she had already decided not to return even before the programme ended. Trusting her instincts, she chose to walk away convinced the church was not a place she wanted to associate with.

Sharing her thoughts, she wrote:

“The first day my friend took me to his church, everything he did screamed fake. I never went back. Spirit of discernment is essential in life.”

Mixed Reactions Online

Her post has since sparked conversations online, with some users agreeing with her emphasis on personal discernment, while others urged caution in drawing conclusions based on a single experience.
