Media personality Tunde Perry has sparked widespread reactions after revealing what he described as an unusual agreement in his marriage, claiming his wife permits him to spend one day every month with another woman.
Speaking in a video that has gone viral on social media, Perry said the arrangement was introduced by his wife after they had been married for about three years and had developed a deep understanding of each other.
According to him, he chooses a specific date every month for the arrangement and informs his wife in advance that he will be unavailable.
He explained that on the chosen day, he stays away from home and completely disconnects from communication until he returns.
Using July as an example, Perry disclosed that he was considering two possible dates for his monthly outing.
He said the arrangement allows him to spend time with another woman without interference from his wife.
Speaking in the video, he said:
“My wife now want make I marry another wife, so she dey give me one free day each month to see another girl. Me and my wife don dey married for like three years so we don sabi ourselves.
“She give me one day to chill, so from the beginning I don choose 26 from the beginning of the month. Like July now I get two dates wey I dey try choose.
“Like that one day I go say I no dey around and I no go come house. Just that one day, no call, no nothing.”
The video has generated mixed reactions online, with many social media users expressing surprise over the arrangement, while others questioned whether such an agreement could work in a marriage.
