Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has melted hearts after revealing that the first person he calls whenever something good happens in his life is his girlfriend.
The rapper made the disclosure during an appearance on the VERSUS Player Lounge, where he joined Crystal Palace and Super Eagles star Ebere Eze alongside popular content creator Eman SV2.
During the conversation, the trio were asked a simple question: Who is the first person you call after receiving good news?
Ebere Eze responded by saying he would call his wife first, while Eman SV2 said he would speak to his brother before calling his fiancée.
Odumodublvck, however, didn’t hesitate with his answer.
“For me, it’s my girlfriend,” he said.
The rapper explained that no matter the achievement or breakthrough, his first instinct is to pick up his phone and share the news with her before speaking to anyone else.
“Hello baby, this guy said this and this,” he said while describing how their conversations usually begin.
According to the rapper, his decision has nothing to do with fame or business.
He said he believes his girlfriend genuinely cares about him more than anyone else.
“At the end of the day, nobody else cares about me more than she does,” Odumodublvck said.
His comments have since sparked reactions online, with many fans praising his loyalty and openness about his relationship, while others described his statement as one of the sweetest moments from the interview.
