A Nigerian woman has shared why she believes she narrowly escaped being involved in the recent road accident involving music promoter Sam Larry, saying she could have been one of the occupants in the vehicle.
Speaking in a video circulating online, the woman said Sam Larry, whom she described as a longtime friend, informed her before travelling that he would be returning to Nigeria and promised to contact her after arriving.
According to her, he never reached out after his arrival, and she also decided not to contact him because she did not want to appear overly eager.
Reflecting on the incident, she said she now believes that decision may have prevented her from being in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
Using the experience as an example, she encouraged women to trust their instincts and avoid forcing relationships or interactions.
“See, as a girl, try dey follow your spirit. We have good spirits and bad spirits. Try dey follow your spirit.
“I swear na me suppose be that girl wey dey that car. Sam Larry message me, because he is my very old friend. He said he was coming to Nigeria on Wednesday and texted me on Tuesday. Then he said he would text me when he arrived.
“Me, I get pride. If you no text me, I no go text you. That’s me.
“That accident, na me suppose dey there. Had it been I be one busy-body girl, I for don dey text am immediately after he told me he was coming.
“Bro, follow your heart. Let your stubbornness speak for you. As a girl, get pride. Your pride fit save you one day,” she said.
Her comments come days after the road accident involving Sam Larry, which reportedly claimed the life of one of his associates while the music promoter sustained injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
