The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has commenced registration for its 2026 November/December examinations, covering business, technical and modular trades certification.
Registration began on Monday, August 10, 2026, following a directive from the NABTEB management contained in an internal memorandum dated August 7 and signed by the Director of Examinations Administration, Chigoziem Susan Metu.
The board has invited prospective candidates, schools, technical and vocational institutions, apprenticeship centres and other relevant stakeholders to begin and complete registration within the approved period.
For the 2026 examinations, NABTEB approved the following registration fees:
- NBC/NTC: ₦22,500
- ANBC/ANTC: ₦25,500
- December Modular Trades Certificate Examination: ₦6,000
Registration for the November/December National Business Certificate (NBC), National Technical Certificate (NTC), Advanced National Business Certificate (ANBC) and Advanced National Technical Certificate (ANTC)examinations will close on Thursday, September 10, 2026.
Meanwhile, candidates registering for the December Modular Trades Certificate Examination have until Wednesday, September 30, 2026 to complete the process.
NABTEB urged prospective candidates and participating institutions to complete their registration before the relevant deadlines to avoid complications.
The board also advised candidates to obtain registration information through its authorised channels and follow the approved registration requirements carefully to prevent errors or delays.
NABTEB said the examinations form part of its mandate to provide credible, competency-based assessment and certification in business and technical education.
The board added that its certification programmes support the development of skilled manpower while strengthening technical and vocational education and training (TVET) as a pathway to employment, economic empowerment and self-reliance.
