Activist VeryDarkMan has shared a video purportedly showing Nigerian dancer and hypeman Poco Lee alongside singer Burna Boy, adding to reports that the entertainer may have been released from UK custody.
Poco Lee, whose real name is Iweh Odinaka, has been at the centre of public attention after being remanded in the United Kingdom over allegations involving sexual offences.
The Crown Prosecution Service recently confirmed that his case remains active and that he is scheduled to appear before Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 15, 2026, for a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing.
The CPS did not confirm his current custody or bail status.
Against that backdrop, reports of Poco Lee’s alleged release have circulated on social media, with personalities including Peller and Carter Efe making comments suggesting that the dancer was no longer in custody.
There has, however, been no official confirmation from Poco Lee, his legal representatives or the UK authorities establishing the circumstances of his reported release.
VeryDarkMan has now added to the speculation after posting what he described as the “first video since he came out.”
The video appears to show a man identified as Poco Lee alongside Burna Boy, while another clip shows the dancer eating.
VeryDarkMan captioned the post:
“Proof of life, Poco Lee first video since he came out. Big up @burnaboygram. Welcome back @poco_lee.”
The footage has since generated reactions from social media users, many of whom interpreted it as further evidence that Poco Lee has been released.
