Atiku’s Aide Claims Trump Was Briefed On Tinubu’s Alleged US Court Records

Paul Ibe, an aide to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has claimed that United States President Donald Trump has been made aware of court documents relating to President Bola Tinubu’s alleged past legal records in the United States.

Ibe made the allegation in a post shared on his X account on Wednesday, claiming that Tinubu’s alleged 60-page US Department of Justice (DOJ) documents concerning alleged heroin trafficking and the forfeiture of $460,000 had been brought to Trump’s attention through a US lobbying firm identified as Batten Von.

According to Ibe, Nigerians deserve to know the full details surrounding the matter.

“Finally, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s @officialABAT 60-page DOJ files on heroin trafficking and forfeiture of $460,000 has been brought to the attention of @realDonaldTrump courtesy of a US lobbyist firm, @batten_von.

“Manuel Noriega on my mind. Nigerians deserve to know the whole truth and nothing but the truth. The best is being saved for last,” he wrote.

However, Ibe did not provide evidence to support his claim that President Trump had been briefed on the documents or indicate whether any action had been taken by the US President regarding the matter.

Neither President Tinubu, the Presidency, Donald Trump, nor the US lobbying firm mentioned in the post had publicly responded to the claims as of the time of filing this report.

The allegations remain unverified, and no official confirmation has been issued by US authorities regarding the claims made by Atiku’s aide.
