Moore shared his views on Saturday via Twitter, referencing his recent interview with Fox News, where he highlighted the alarming rise in killings and abductions targeting Christian communities across Nigeria.

He tweeted:

“The persecution of Christians in Nigeria is escalating out of control. I believe it is now a genocide. It is up to the Nigerian government to work with the United States to stop the killings and kidnappings of our brothers and sisters in Christ. This human tragedy has to end, or else, @POTUS has made it clear that he will take action to stop this tragedy.”

Rising Insecurity in Nigeria

Moore’s comments come amid growing insecurity in Nigeria, including attacks on schools, churches, and villages, as well as kidnappings for ransom. Recent incidents in Kebbi, Niger, and Kwara States have amplified international concern over the safety of civilians, particularly Christian communities in the country’s northern and central regions.
