EFCC Arraigns Blessing CEO Again Over Fresh Alleged ₦13 Million Fraud Case

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has re-arraigned social media influencer and self-acclaimed relationship therapist, Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO, over another alleged fraud case involving ₦13 million.

The Lagos Zonal Directorate 2 of the anti-graft agency arraigned Blessing CEO on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, before Justice Yelim Bogoro of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos.

According to the EFCC, the influencer is facing a six-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence and retaining proceeds allegedly amounting to ₦13,000,000.

The Commission said the latest charges stemmed from petitions submitted by individuals and organisations, including the Nigeria Cancer Society, following claims that Blessing CEO solicited financial support from the public after allegedly announcing online that she was battling Stage 4 breast cancer.

Investigators reportedly discovered that several Nigerians donated money after being moved by the appeal. However, the EFCC alleged that documents presented to support the fundraising campaign were later found to have been falsified.

The development comes less than 24 hours after Blessing CEO was arraigned before Justice R.A. Oshodi of the Special Offences Court in Ikeja, Lagos, over a separate alleged ₦69.15 million fraud case.

In the earlier case, she was charged with obtaining money by false pretence and allegedly stealing millions of naira.

The fresh arraignment marks the second time within two days that the anti-graft agency has brought the influencer before the courts, further deepening her legal troubles.

The case was subsequently adjourned for further proceedings.

As of the time of filing this report, Blessing CEO has not publicly responded to the latest allegations. The charges remain allegations, and she is presumed innocent unless proven guilty by the court.
