Oyedepo Urges Winners Chapel Members To Get PVCs Ahead Of 2027 Elections

Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, has urged members of the church to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 general elections, stressing that Christians should actively participate in shaping the country’s leadership.

The renowned cleric made the call while delivering a sermon titled “Breaking the Curses of Life” at Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State.

Addressing the congregation, Oyedepo described participation in elections as a civic responsibility, noting that every Nigerian has the constitutional right to help determine who governs the country.

He encouraged church members not to remain passive observers of political developments but to register to vote and exercise their democratic rights during the next general elections.

“We have a civic responsibility as responsible citizens of our various nations.

“We are not passers-by in our nations. We are bona fide citizens of the nation and we have a right to participate in who governs us.

“We have a right to determine who rules us. And this church, with the millions that we have, has a say in it. So be part of it,” he said.

Oyedepo’s remarks come as political activities ahead of the 2027 elections continue to gather momentum, with political parties, civic organisations and public figures increasingly encouraging eligible Nigerians to obtain their PVCs and participate in the electoral process.
