Sean “Diddy” Combs Reportedly Placed In Solitary Confinement After Prison Fight

Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly been placed in solitary confinement at a federal prison in New Jersey following an alleged altercation with another inmate.

According to reports by ABC News, NBC News and TMZ, the incident occurred at FCI Fort Dix, a low-security federal correctional institution located on a military installation in New Jersey.

The reports claim the altercation began after another inmate allegedly criticised Combs before prison officials intervened and quickly brought the situation under control. Authorities have not publicly released further details about the reported incident.

Combs, 55, is currently serving a 50-month federal prison sentence after he was convicted in October 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

He was acquitted of more serious charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering, during the same federal trial. The sentence also took into account the time he had already spent in custody before the trial.

According to the reports, Combs is currently expected to be released in February 2028, earlier than an initially projected April 2028 release date because of credit for time served.

It remains unclear whether the reported prison altercation or any disciplinary action arising from it could affect his projected release date.

At the time of reporting, federal prison authorities had not publicly confirmed the reported placement in solitary confinement or announced any disciplinary measures.
