Content creator and streamer Peller has questioned the reported quick burial of his late blogger and close associate, Hushbobby, who reportedly died after undergoing surgery.
Peller, who recently said he contributed ₦1.5 million towards Hushbobby’s surgery, expressed concern over the circumstances surrounding his death and the decision to reportedly bury him shortly afterwards.
In a video shared online, the streamer said an autopsy should have been conducted to establish what caused Hushbobby’s death before his remains were buried.
“Can you guys stop burying people very quick, I beg you all. Why will you run to bury him after he was declared dead? Now they need to do autopsy to know what killed him, una run go bury am. Why?”
Peller said he was particularly surprised because he had earlier been informed that the surgery was successful before news of Hushbobby’s death reached him.
He questioned why the burial allegedly took place so soon after the death, arguing that medical examination could have helped determine the circumstances surrounding the passing.
“Someone died in the morning, and you buried him in the evening. It doesn’t make any sense.”
The streamer also spoke about his own wishes, saying he would not want his remains to be buried hastily if he dies.
“Make nobody run bury me, I go change am for people oo. I no go gree.”
Peller further demanded the return of the ₦1.5 million he said he provided for Hushbobby’s medical treatment, amid his concerns about the circumstances surrounding the death.
His latest comments come as he continues to mourn Hushbobby, whose reported death following surgery has generated reactions on social media.
Peller had previously disclosed that he paid for the surgery and said he was shocked when he later received news that Hushbobby had died despite being told that the operation had been successful.
However, the medical cause of Hushbobby’s death has not been independently established, and details surrounding the reported timing of his burial have also not been independently verified.
Peller’s call for an autopsy is therefore based on his concerns over the circumstances of the death and should not be taken as evidence that wrongdoing occurred.
