Controversial activist VeryDarkMan has reacted to reports that Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has returned to her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, following the couple’s widely reported marital crisis.
VeryDarkMan said he was happy about the reported development but questioned the suggestion that Regina’s alleged return was motivated solely by her two children.
The activist argued that Regina had previously been separated from her children during the early stages of the dispute, and therefore questioned why her children should now be presented as the only reason for her reported return.
He also rejected the portrayal of Regina as the sole victim of the relationship, shifting criticism towards her mother, whom he accused of having played a major role in the actress’ marriage to Nwoko.
“Regina Daniels has gone back to the husband. I’m very happy. Somebody said Regina Daniels only went back because of her children. She no see the children when she go before? Why she no care much about the children to stay before?”
VeryDarkMan further argued that Regina should not be blamed for the circumstances surrounding the relationship, describing the situation as one in which adults made decisions involving a young woman.
He specifically criticised the significant age difference between Regina and Nwoko, while maintaining that Regina’s mother had exerted considerable influence over her daughter’s choices.
“They said she was so young, he took advantage of the girl. Bro, the person that took advantage of the girl was the mother. And I’ll still say it. The mother is still that girl’s problem until this world will end. Regina has no blame in all of this. Two adults took advantage of the girl, simple.”
The activist alleged that Regina’s mother had been instrumental in the relationship despite opposition from the actress’ father.
“The mother engineered the whole thing even without her father’s consent. She no allow the girl explore.”
VeryDarkMan also questioned the generational gap between Regina and Ned Nwoko, suggesting that the difference in their ages had contributed to the concerns surrounding their relationship.
His comments followed the circulation of a video showing Regina Daniels at Nwoko’s residence, where she was seen spending time with their two sons, Moon and Khalifa, as well as Nwoko’s son, Amid.
The footage has generated speculation about the current state of the couple’s relationship. However, Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko have not publicly confirmed that they have reconciled or explained the circumstances surrounding her presence at the residence.
The reported development comes months after the couple became embroiled in a highly publicised marital dispute, with allegations and counter-allegations emerging publicly.
VeryDarkMan’s latest comments have since added another perspective to the ongoing discussion surrounding the actress, her husband and the circumstances surrounding their relationship.
