The once-admired relationship between Nigerian TikTok creators Ivana and Tunmise has come to a dramatic end, with both influencers taking their grievances to social media in a series of videos, voice notes and screenshots that have dominated online conversations.
Known for their couple-themed content, pranks and lifestyle videos, the pair had built a large following by portraying what many fans considered an ideal relationship. However, their breakup has now become one of the biggest social media controversies of the year.

Tunmise also shared screenshots and messages which he claimed showed Ivana attempting to reconcile with him after the relationship had deteriorated.
As the dispute unfolded, supporters quickly split into opposing camps. Some backed Ivana, pointing to her allegations of emotional and physical mistreatment, while others sided with Tunmise, citing his claims about infidelity and financial demands.
The controversy has generated millions of views across TikTok and other social media platforms, with users creating reaction videos, livestreams, duets and commentary discussing the relationship.
The breakup has also reignited conversations about the risks of public relationships, with many social media users arguing that private disputes should not be turned into online spectacles, while others say both parties have the right to share their experiences.
