Nigerian singer Seyi Vibez has continued to take shots at his former label, Dapper Music, amid an ongoing controversy involving alleged missing funds said to be worth more than ₦1 billion.
The singer made several cryptic posts on X, appearing to mock the situation surrounding his former label while suggesting that he was fortunate to have left before the controversy escalated.
In one of the posts, Seyi Vibez wrote:
“Thank GOD say na me first Japa. The rest na mumu.”
He also made an allegation involving spiritual manipulation, writing:
“Dem dey use jazz.”
The singer suggested that whatever was allegedly being done did not have an effect on him.
Seyi Vibez later brought celebrity chef Hilda Baci into the conversation, making an allegation about food he claimed was provided to him through Dapper Music.
He wrote that food from Hilda Baci had been given to him by the label and jokingly suggested that the experience almost cost him his life.
He subsequently took another swipe at the situation, writing:
“Na Hilda Baci BBL all una catalogue money dey go. All of una dey craze and una mama.”
The posts have added another layer to the ongoing controversy surrounding Dapper Music and allegations concerning funds said to be missing from the label.
Seyi Vibez’s comments appear to suggest that he believes leaving the label earlier was the right decision, although he did not provide evidence to substantiate the allegations contained in his posts.
