Victor Boniface Deletes Instagram Posts, Shares Emotional Message Amid Leverkusen Fitness Setback

Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface has deleted all posts from his Instagram account and shared an emotional message that has prompted concern and support from fans.

The 25-year-old Nigerian striker made the move shortly after being left out of Bayer Leverkusen’s UEFA Europa League squad amid concerns over his fitness.

Boniface has not explained why he removed his Instagram posts, and there is currently no indication from the player that the decision or his emotional message is directly connected to his situation at the German club.

In the Instagram Story, Boniface reflected on difficult periods in his life and expressed gratitude to God for remaining with him through both positive and challenging moments.

“Dear God, I have no idea what’s happening in my life right now, but I just want to say thank you for being with me in my highs and my lows.

“My life hasn’t always been easy, but one thing I know: You have never left my side. You are my everything.”

The message drew emotional responses from supporters, with several fans encouraging the Nigerian international to remain strong as he continues to deal with another difficult period in his career.

One supporter described Boniface as “a fighter” and urged him not to give up, while another highlighted the serious knee injuries and surgeries he has previously endured.

“Keep fighting, Victor. We love you, we believe in you, and we are your number-one fans,” the supporter wrote.

Another fan said Boniface needed encouragement and prayers, adding that recovering from serious injuries and regaining confidence as a professional footballer was not easy.

Boniface has had a difficult history with injuries since establishing himself in European football, including significant knee problems that have required surgery and lengthy periods on the sidelines.

His latest setback comes after he was omitted from Leverkusen’s Europa League squad.

Leverkusen manager Carles Martinez previously indicated that Boniface was not fully fit when the squad was selected, although he said the striker’s knee condition had improved significantly.

The Nigerian will now hope to complete his recovery and return to competitive action, but his latest Instagram activity has added to the attention surrounding his current situation.

For now, Boniface has not disclosed why he deleted his Instagram posts or whether his emotional message was related to his football career.

His supporters, however, have continued to rally around him as he works towards a return to full fitness.
