The Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 11 premiere got off to an exciting start on Sunday as organisers introduced the first 21 housemates who will battle for the show’s record-breaking ₦160 million grand prize.
Hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the live launch featured individual introductions, brief interviews and the official entry of each contestant into Biggie’s house. Organisers also confirmed that additional housemates are expected to be unveiled as the premiere continues.
Here are the contestants introduced during the launch:
Tram
The 24-year-old streamer from Lagos says he is entering the competition with one objective — winning. He insists he has no interest in romance or distractions and plans to remain focused throughout the game.
Martins
A 30-year-old visual storyteller and model from Kogi State, Martins says he is swapping the runway for Biggie’s house. He describes himself as fun-loving and claims he has a hidden talent for reading minds.
Abi
Representing Osun State, Abi is a chef and model who says she is bringing humour, confidence and vibrant energy into the competition.
Chimsom Chuka
The 27-year-old pharmacist from Anambra State describes himself as patient, funny and authentic. He believes his calm personality will help him thrive under pressure.
Keivo
A 27-year-old web developer from Benue State, Keivo says he enjoys gaming, painting and drawing. While he is open to finding love, he says marriage is not currently a priority.
Mercedes
The 26-year-old massage therapist and concierge business owner from Delta State says she is entering the house with ambition, confidence and what she calls “boss energy.”
Kamsy
An event planner and gift curator, Kamsy says she is bringing style, ambition, humour and enough drama to keep viewers entertained.
Sultex
The Lagos-based dancer and choreographer says confidence is one of his strongest qualities. He hopes his outspoken personality will help him stand out during the competition.
Aikou
A freelance teacher and web developer from Abuja, Aikou describes himself as calm, intelligent and honest. He says he values genuine relationships and dislikes dishonesty.
Flora
A makeup entrepreneur with a passion for fashion, Flora says she is entering the competition with confidence, honesty and plenty of personality.
Bells
Bells describes herself as disciplined, resilient and organised. She hopes to remain true to herself throughout her stay in Biggie’s house.
Temi Nkem
The 21-year-old says she has a clear strategy for the competition and intends to play the game entirely on her own terms.
Gerald
A 23-year-old on-air personality from Lagos, Gerald says he is an open book who dislikes dishonesty and is ready to embrace every experience in the house.
Oyin
The 22-year-old sales entrepreneur and model says she wants to prove there is more to her than first impressions and has her sights firmly set on the grand prize.
Sheba
A fitness enthusiast and proud mother, Sheba says she is bringing warmth, confidence and positive energy into the competition while remaining open to finding love.
Araga
The fashion model proudly calls himself “the last loverboy standing in Nigeria.” He says he is in the competition for the prize money, excitement and possibly romance.
Ricky
The 33-year-old writer from Port Harcourt describes himself as a “bad boy by necessity.” He believes his storytelling ability and personality will help him make a lasting impression.
Nomy
A 26-year-old fashion designer from Anambra State, Nomy says she is ready to turn her creativity and confidence into success inside Biggie’s house.
Barry
The 26-year-old civil engineer and designer based in Abuja says he is highly competitive and open to finding love but has zero tolerance for disrespect.
Neche
Neche, 25, says she is entering the competition with brains, beauty and confidence, hoping to make her mark from the very beginning.
Yusuf
The 25-year-old actor from Kogi State describes himself as confident, honest and unpredictable. A self-confessed romantic, Yusuf says he is ready to entertain viewers while competing for the top prize.
With the first 21 contestants now inside Biggie’s house, fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of more housemates as BBNaija Season 11 officially gets underway.
